He initially started the company as an internet bookstore, selling books over the internet. As the business grew, he began to sell DVDs, CDs, software, toys, electronics, furniture, apparel, food, and sporting goods. In 1997, Amazon expanded outside of its initial bookselling roots to offer content marketing services to businesses. Over time, the company continued to expand its service offerings to include cloud computing, web hosting, advertising, music, video streaming, and mobile app distribution.

AliExpress is a Chinese company similar to Rakuten. They sell just about whatever you want and they do it cheaper.

Etsy is a site where people can sell handmade goods. People post different things they’ve created and if someone wants to buy it, they simply click “buy it now”.
